XANDAR team meets in Valencia

Last month, fentISS hosted the first face-to-face progress meeting of XANDAR project in Valencia. Team members from the eight institutions of the consortium attended the session in Month 15 of the project. 

With the project already advanced in its second year of progress, partners had the opportunity to discuss personally about the project updates and reviewed different issues related to the execution of XANDAR. 

During this 3-days event of intensive exchange among partners, the consortium reviewed the progress of each of the active Work Packages, presenting the tasks carried out, as well as the actions to be performed in the upcoming months. This review of the Work Packages revealed that all the activities were being executed in time and as expected. 

This appointment covered different aspects of the project with several presentations related organisational topics or technical issues, as well as different group sessions or demos to show the progress of the work performed.

Consortium members also had the time to enjoy the Spanish city and get to know their colleagues better during a social event in which they all had a great time. Partners explored Valencia with a small city tour through their streets and enjoyed Mediterranean food at an exciting meet-up with the whole team.

This first face-to-face meeting was a good opportunity to present the first headway in the development of XANDAR project and discuss further steps of research. The next one will be held in Belfast in September and we can’t wait for it!
